Reviews and Ratings
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with its wonderful Chestnut suite and the convenience of lounging on the couch watching movies on the sky TV after our evening meals. The only downside was the irregular room servicing, although the bottle of champagne made up for it.
I loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, complete with a fridge to keep my wine perfectly chilled. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was excellent. I also enjoyed the lovely view of trees from the windows. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to make my stay special. The location was excellent for both relaxation and exploring Norfolk. The dining experience was exceptional, especially the cooked breakfast. The hotel facilities were top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Staying at this hotel was like having a private lodge experience with spacious rooms and a good-sized bathroom. The atmosphere was light, quiet, and very comfortable. The separate buildings added a unique touch to the stay. The rural woodland location offered a perfect blend of tranquility and beautiful surroundings, making it an ideal spot for dog owners with easy access to National Trust walks. The dining experience was enjoyable, though a few additional side options could enhance it. The service from the hardworking and courteous staff, especially Rachel, was exceptional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the lodge.
Our stay at the hotel was just perfect in a lovely setting, really peaceful, and the food was amazing with realistic pricing. Even our dog enjoyed his stay! The rooms were adequately furnished, warm, and clean, providing plenty of space for my husband, me, our 3 teenage daughters, and our furry companion.
I felt like I was in a luxurious hideaway nestled in a tranquil forest. The rooms were stunning, the service was impeccable, and the dining was a delightful experience. However, I wished there was a fridge in the room to keep my drinks cool. The location was perfect for those seeking peace and quiet surrounded by nature.
The Walnut Suite at the lodge was a fantastic experience overall. The large, elegant, and well-appointed rooms were spacious, ensuring a comfortable stay. While the rooms were not serviced, the welcoming and efficient service made up for it. The remote yet convenient location near Cromer and Sherringham added to the charm, but could have been cleaner. The lovely dining options catered to various preferences, although the street food could be improved. Facilities were adequate, but some maintenance was needed. Price was acceptable given the amenities provided.
